Managed to lose an entire copy of my nearly completed version of On The Beaten Path, but fortunately had previous copies of the draft saved else where. Personally, I reckon it's a blessing in disguise as it let me review where I wanted to go with the story and why. The last draft was going wonky and admittedly I was breaking the first cardinal rule of writing; telling, not showing.
Equally, made me refocus on some of the info dumping you've probably been seeing in the The Gene Bukowski Saga section of the website, as I think I need to get that out of my system before I write properly.
